The Arboretum at Flagstaff

The Arboretum at Flagstaff

The Arboretum is another unique facility in the Flagstaff area. It provides a botanical garden, and an avenue for research and education.

The Colorado Plateau is home to much plant life. The Arboretum houses a collection of 2,500 species of plants from the region. You can see and learn all about these plants.

The Arboretum sponsors regular events for education and entertainment. Through October, an exciting weekly series called Birds of Prey demonstrations will show you all about these magnificent birds. There are daily guided walks, concerts, plant sales, classes and workshops and other events. Several miles of trails are available for exploring. The greenhouse and gift shop are available as well.

The Flagstaff Arboretum is situated on about 200 acres just west of Flagstaff. This means you will have ample viewing of the mountains and scenery on the west side of Flagstaff.

There is an admission charge to get into the Arboretum.
