There is a wondrous new way to view the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon Skywalk on the western rim of the Grand Canyon is now open. This new Flagtaff attraction will blow your mind. This spectacular engineering feet is operated by the Hualapai Native American Tribe and will be open to the public from dawn Grand Canyon Skywalktil dusk each day. The horseshoe shaped structure will allow visitors to walk out over the edge of the Grand Canyon and see straight down nearly 4,000 feet. The Glass Bridge with the glass bottom floor will provide visitors with a most unusual way to see the beauty of the Grand Canyon. Since this attraction is not at the popular south rim’s Grand Canyon National Park, you will see a completely different part of the Grand Canyon.
 

The Grand Canyon Skywalk at Eagle’s Point has a complete visitor’s center which will house several restaurants and bars, gift shop, movie theater, museum and more. There are also be facilities for weddings and special events.

 
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is approximately 216 miles from Flagstaff.. about a 4 hour drive. Take I-40 west to Kingman, then north on Stockton Hill Road, then right on Pierce Ferry Road, another right on Diamond Bar Road which ends at the Grand Canyon West entry and airport.
