Route 66 Cam Located at Peace Surplus Stolen
Grand Theft police report filed with Flagstaff Police Department against Owner Steve Chatinsky of Peace Surplus and Jeff Saville of Nacet.
The owner of the Peace Surplus store who has provided rooftop space for the Route 66 Cam has confiscated our cam. After obtaining a new Route 66 location, we informed Steve Chatinsky that we needed to come by and pick up the cam to execute our move. Chatinsky informed us he was using the cam for his own security and that he, and previous Flagstaff Web Cam owner Jeff Saville were planning on hatching their own web cam.
So Chatinsky has stolen our cam and we have filed a police report against him and Peace Surplus.
Chatinsky and Saville offered to buy the cam last March and were turned down.
Flagstaff Police Department is currently assisting us in this matter.
Read the police report in either, pdf format or text format.
